Herman Cain’s Popularity Starting to Take a Hit

A Reuters poll just released is showing that the popularity of leading Republican Presidential candidate Herman Cain is starting to drop.

The poll is showing that his favorable rating has drop 9 points since last week in the wake of sexual harassment allegations.

I think this could be the beginning of the end of the Herman Cain for President campaign. Once the decline in popularity starts to pick up speed (just ask Rick Perry), it can be really difficult to turn it back around.

I’m a little disappointed. His 9-9-9 plan was at least mildly intriguing and I think he’d be a more interesting candidate than Mitt Romney. He could still conceivably turn things around but I won’t be holding my breath.

I guess the lesson learned here is to always keep your hands to yourself!
