Herman Cain: The new Tiger Woods?

Just when it seemed like the sexual harrassment allegations against Herman Cain were starting to simmer down……….he’s BAAAAAAAAAAACK!!!!!!!!!!!

In case you haven’t read the story, Ginger White, a businesswoman from Atlanta, claims that she and Cain carried on a 13-year extramarital affair that ended only when Cain started his run toward the presidency.  Cain, of course, has denied that anything happened.

I don’t know if any of it is true or not but this gal’s story seems believable.  She’s not making wild accusations or claims of a love child or anything.  She simply says that she knew it was wrong but it was just simple fun.  Plus, she’s handed over phone records that seem to show that she and Cain regularly traded phone calls and text messages.

For Cain’s part, I don’t know if this latest allegation affects him in the polls with the slew of allegations already out there.  I honestly think some people have just come to expect it from him.  Herman Cain seems to be the new Tiger Woods.

Think about it.  Would it surprise you at all at this point if another 8-10 women came out with sexual harrassment allegations of their own?  It starts with one and then it snowballs when all these other women start to follow their lead.  I’m not saying that there are more accusations out there.  I’m just saying that at this point any new stories would kind of just bounce of me in much the same way that Tiger Woods’ 14th and 15th mistress did.  Yeah, he’s a slimeball but we’re not learning anything new here.

This affects me very little since I never planned on voting for Herman Cain to begin with.  His support has been eroding steadily in the last few weeks and he’ll probably continue to decline as we start approaching the primary season.

What say you?  What do you think of Herman Cain and the sexual harrassment allegations against him?  Feel free to comment below.

While Herman Cain is certainly “back,” he’s also seemingly falling out of the race.. fast.

Yeah, he was the intriguing candidate for a while but his foreign policy gaffes and history of womanizing are almost sure to sink him now. I defended his right to stay in the race once the first couple of accusers came out but the pile of evidence is starting to mount against him.

The fabric of the lives of some folks who are in leadership positions (or want to be) seems to be unraveling, doesn’t it? I have the feeling there’s a lot more to come. Some of it so outrageous that jaws will drop. Hold on to your hats!

I’m sure most politicians (and people in general for that matter) have some skeletons in their closet that they’d like to keep in the past. I’m sure it’s only going to get worse as the 2012 election draws closer. Hold on to your hats indeed!

I think his time remaining in the race can be timed with a stopwatch.
