Here To Stay? Occupy Wall Street Has Events Planned Through 2025

This is one of the funnier news bits I’ve come across today so far.

From today’s New York Post

Now they want to Occupy the Future.

Determined Occupy Wall Street demonstrators have vowed they’re not leaving Zuccotti Park anytime soon, and their online agenda suggests they mean business — with events scheduled through Oct. 26, 2025.

I had to check this out for myself and, indeed, the entry for October 26, 2025 indicates that they’ll be presenting “Radical Economics 101” at 10AM in Liberty Plaza.  I’m not sure if they’ve got a presenter lined up for the next 15 years but if Liberty Plaza ends up being “occupied” for the next 15 years, that place will end up being one raunchy stinkhole!

Also in the story it says how an “Occupy the MTA” protest at Union Square that demanded that jobless folks be allowed to ride for free only drew 10 protesters.  Is it ironic that the group that is denouncing fiscal greed wants something without paying for it?  Hmmm……
