Lindsay Lohan released from jail……again!

November 7, 2011 1 comment

You may have read the news that Lindsay Lohan, she of the increasingly lengthy rap sheet and questionable moral compass, was released from jail yet again after serving mere hours on a parole violation rap due to overcrowding.

I’ve got to ask the obvious question.  What’s the point?  What’s the point of even sending her to jail if she’s only going to be kicked back out on to the street a few hours later?  How does this in any way help rehabilitate her?  Don’t you think she’s going to figure out that no matter how many conditions of her parole she violates or how many laws she breaks that she’s going to get off with even less than a slap on the wrist?  What’s going to be her motivation to not break the law when there are no consequences to her actions?

And I’m tired of this overcrowding excuse.  The economy is looking for something to help kick start it again.  I vote that one of the top projects on the to do list be building additional jails and prisons to let people know that when you violate the law you’re going to jail and you’re going to stay there, not get off on some technicality or issue with poor planning.

I can’t wait to see the pictures of Lohan out clubbing later tonight!  Yeesh!
